• At Impetus Fund, we believe that a thriving democracy is the key to a fair and equitable society. As our democratic principles and institutions face increased threats, Impetus Fund works to ensure that every individual has a say in shaping the country’s future. Our work strengthens the efforts of coalitions, nonprofits, community leaders, and advocacy organizations dedicated to upholding and strengthening the American democratic system.

Promoting Civic Engagement

• A democracy is only as strong as its citizenry. Providing Americans the tools necessary to participate in the political process is key to creating a cohesive and equitable society. When citizens vote, volunteer, and advocate, they reinforce the legitimacy and trust in democratic institutions.
